Conform no longer

The culture around us is becoming increasingly foreign to those of us who grew up in church.  The challenge for us all, and especially for students is to find a way to live in this world, and yet be set apart from it.  Our best example is  Jesus Christ, who, being God, took on human form, became a man and lived on earth.  He lived a life that was clearly different, counter-cultural, and some would even say, revolutionary.

Renew your mind

To be students who are counter-cultural is not necessarily about being rebellious, anti-establishment or oddly different. It’s about living a transformed or changed life, evidenced by a changed heart. A changed heart comes from a changed perspective, thinking, or mind.  Such perspective impacts our relationships with each other and with the world around us.

Unleash God's power

God has uniquely gifted each one of us-adults and students alike. His power through us helps us stand against the culture, and also be agents of change in this world. Imagine what can be accomplished when God’s people are unleashed to advance His kingdom and to do His will.

X - the cross

Ultimately, it's all about Jesus! His finished work on the cross opens the door to a personal relationship with Him. His resurrection gives us an eternal hope. The promise of His continual presence through the Holy Spirit encourages us and enables us to be His ambassadors to the world in which we live.
