The Gathering Band, also known as The Worship Band or The Worship Gathering, leads worship at the Contemporary Service.

Our purpose, as a band of lead worshippers, is to help people to connect with their Creator through musical worship and other creative arts.  We strive to honor God and put the focus of our attention where it belongs --- on Him.  Songs we write or select for singing at The Worship Gathering are chosen to magnify God or encourage, teach, or strengthen those who gather to worship with us.  We are not about mere performance!  If the focus is on us and not our Lord, we have failed in our purpose to help people connect with their Creator.

Our musical style is primarily guitar driven rock, but some weeks we give the drums a rest and play an acoustic set that may include a wide variety of instruments from guitars, upright bass, fiddles, mandolins and dulcimers, to melodicas, whistles, and churangos.
