Know Jesus
Who is Jesus?

Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice to satisfy the payment required for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose physically from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven's glory, and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the only Savior for humanity, and is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
What is the Gospel?

The word gospel simply means "good news." The Bible tells us that in the beginning God created everything in a "perfect" state. However, man rebelled and sin entered the world and into every human heart. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The ultimate consequence of sin is death and eternal separation from God. God in His great mercy and love provided a way for sin to be dealt with by the grace offered through His beloved son, Jesus Christ. This story of redemption is the central message of the Bible and "good news" of the Gospel message. Because of Jesus' death on the cross, all who believe in Him are declared righteous and have the hope and assurance of eternal life. This is the Gospel message and Jesus offers it to all who would believe in Him and trust Him as their Lord and Savior.
